Find Your New Favorite Local Band at The Big Dark Corner!

If you thought the long list of main stage music was enough, wait until you find out about the Big Dark Corner. This year at Summer Fest, there will be an secondary stage and musical lineup hosted by The Big Dark Records.

The venue will be rooted behind Key Bank and feature artists throughout the weekend during Key Bank’s non-business hours.

However, the Big Dark Corner comes with a twist. All of the artists performing are youthful, climbing and experimenting. This collection of musicians are ones you may have never heard of, but will be begging for more from. Plus, the cast are local to Seattle and carry their love for the city with them.

The musicians are collaborating with the Big Dark Records, a rising record label founded in West Seattle. As these groups are up-and-coming, we need you to come out, show out and get loud with your support. And who knows you may find your next favorite artist.

Bringing youthful energy, the Big Dark Corner will provide attendants a different experience from the Main Stage and offer the opportunity for support of local artists. This section is all about creating a welcoming environment and platform for the next great Seattle artists. You won’t want to miss it.
