Thank You For Going Green at Summer Fest

One of the greatest parts of Summer Fest is that the event is entirely green. While the event has tested out the program in years past, 2026 marked the first time that all vendors used reusable products. With this accomplishment, Summer Fest became the first and only major Seattle festival that has gone completely reusable.

Instead of creating pounds of waste and heightening carbon emissions, the guests at Summer Fest kept things clean and helped the environment. With your help, Summer Fest created zero waste and will go down as the most environmentally friendly festivals in the city. We would like to thank all of you for pitching in to this movement and fostering a new era of green events. You all knocked it out of the park with your contributions.

We would also like to thank Seattle Public Utilities and Bold Reuse for supplying us with the tools we needed to make this happen. Without them, Summer Fest wouldn’t have been able to make history.

We hope that these efforts leave a long-lasting impact on Seattle residents and the beautiful environment we live in.
