Summer Fest Eve is a Special Night for the Locals, You Need to Be There!

While Summer Fest may begin on Friday, July 10th, you may be surprised to find out that the party is really getting started the night before on Summer Fest Eve! Before the madness in ensues during Summer Fest, community will gather in the Junction for a more intimate night of music, eats, and art.

On July 9th, the streets of the West Seattle Junction will be blocked off and made exclusive to those who love the neighborhood. During the event, many of your favorite vendors on the block will be hosting personal outdoor lounge areas with special menu options.

Not only will there be an awesome selection of great eats and drinks, Friday night is also Art Walk! With that, California street will be bubbling with spectacular artwork from locals casting a beautiful scene before the block is filled with tents and people.

To kick off a night of music, The Head and the Heart will be putting on an iconic show at Easy Street Records. The long-standing band is prepared to make the night a special one with a performance you will never forget.

Later in the night, Seattle’s own Aurora Ave. will be rocking out at the all-ways intersection. With their youthful energy, the group will provide the perfect introduction to the amazing artists that will be performing during Summer Fest.

Above all else, this night is about celebrating the neighborhood and bringing together everyone that makes it run. If you didn’t already know, it is you who allows these events to happen every year.
